The Indian cricket team has announced its squads for the upcoming Test and ODI series against the West Indies. Rohit Sharma will lead the team in both formats, while Ajinkya Rahane has been appointed as the vice-captain for the Test team.

There are a few notable changes in the Test squad, with Cheteshwar Pujara being dropped and Prithvi Shaw being recalled. Pujara has been in poor form for some time now, and his place in the team has been under pressure. Shaw, on the other hand, is a young and talented batsman who has been in good form in domestic cricket.

Another change in the Test squad is the inclusion of Mukesh Kumar. Kumar is a fast bowler who has been in good form in domestic cricket. He is likely to be the replacement for Mohammed Shami, who has been given rest after playing continuously.

The ODI squad is largely unchanged from the team that played against South Africa earlier this year. Hardik Pandya has been named as the vice-captain, while Sanju Samson has returned to the team as a wicketkeeper.

The Test series will be played from July 21 to August 3, while the ODI series will be played from August 6 to 11.
