His batting average is 52.65, the strike rate is 139.04. Kohli doesn’t have any century in T20 cricket. His highest in T20 cricket is 118 runs. Suresh Raina is the first Indian cricketer to score a century in T20 cricket. He made his T20I debut for India against Scotland at Durban – September 13, 2007. It was an ICC men’s T20 world cup 2007 match. Although unfortunately, that match was declared abandoned. But Yuvraj has shown his ability in T20 cricket against England. In that world cup, he scored 148 runs in 5 innings.

But every Indian will remember Yuvraj for his six sixes in one over. Yuvraj Singh blasted Stuart Broad for six sixes in a match against England On September 19, 2007. He hit the fastest fifty ever in a Twenty20 game. With only 12 balls, it was also the fastest fifty in any form of international cricket.

Six sixes were struck in a single over for the fourth time in senior cricket, the first time in Twenty20 cricket, and the first time in any format of international cricket against a Test-playing nation’s bowler. He won the game’s man of the match award after scoring 58 runs off 16 balls.

Gautam Gambhir was instrumental in India’s win in the ICC men’s T20 world cup in 2007. He is an automatic choice for the top 10 batsmen in T20 for India.

The Top 10 batsmen in T20 for India: Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey is in the ninth position on this list of top 10 batsmen in T20 for India. He is the first Indian cricketer who scored a century in IPL in 2009.

But he got the opportunity quite late for the Indian T20 team. Pandey made his T20 debut for India against Zimbabwe at Harare – July 17, 2015. In that match, he scored 19 of 19 balls. He is always in and out of the team. Manish Pandey was not able to make a permanent place in the Indian team.

He played 39 T20I matches for India still now. In his 33 innings, Pandey played 562 balls and scored 709 runs. He got an impressive batting average of 44.31, which is second among the Indian batsmen. His strike rate is 126.15 in T20 internationals. This right-handed middle-order batsman has 17 not-out innings in T20I for India.

Pandey does not have any century in this format. But he had played three half-century innings for India. 79 not-out against South Africa at Centurion is his highest score in T20I. Pandey hits 19 six in T20 for India still now.

The Top 10 batsmen in T20 for India: Virender Sehwag

If statistics are to be believed, Sehwag may not be among India’s top ten batsmen in T20. According to the statistics Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, and Dinesh Karthik is ahead of Viru. They are ahead because they played more matches than Shewag. But the on-field impact Virender Sehwag had in his playing days was something different.

In Johannesburg, Dec 1, 2006, India played their first Twenty20 match against South Africa. Shewag was the captain for India in that match. He played only 19 T20 Matches for India. In his 18 innings, Shewag faced 271 balls and made 394 runs.

He doesn’t have an impressive batting average of 21.89. But Shewag has a very good strike rate of 145.39. He does not have any century in T20I cricket, but he got two half-centuries for India. 68 against England at Durban, Sep 19, 2007, is the highest score of Shewag in T20I.
